Concerts on the Corner welcomes the Lafayette Flute Choir to Crawfordsville at 4 p.m. Sunday at Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, 307 S. Washington St.
Concert organizers are excited to present this group of more than 30 flutists with their unique musical offerings that appeal to listeners of all ages. Choir director, Ellie Berg, said the LFC, which recently celebrated 50 years serving Lafyette and the surrounding communities, provides an opportunity to entertain and for flutists to experience performing together a variety of musical styles.
The one-hour program features popular tunes including selections from The Sound of Music, Simple Gifts, Bohemian Rhapsody, Hallelujah, Bridge Over Troubled Water, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The concert is free, open to the public, and a free-will offering will be donated to the Indiana Youth Group. The continued mission of Concerts on the Corner is to spread the love of God through the joy of music.
