Wells named director of the MCLA

The Montgomery County Leadership Academy has named Rachel Wells as its new executive director, according to a news release from the organization.

Wells brings experience in leadership development, nonprofit management, program coordination and community engagement. Her background includes building partnerships, developing programs and supporting initiatives focused on local leadership and civic involvement.

“Rachel brings the skills, experience and vision needed to continue advancing the mission of the Montgomery County Leadership Academy,” board president Monica Nagele said. “Her background in community engagement, communications, volunteer coordination and leadership development aligns perfectly with the goals of our organization and the needs of Montgomery County.”

Wells said she looks forward to connecting with local businesses, civic leaders and community organizations as a new resident of Montgomery County.

“I’m excited to join the Montgomery County Leadership Academy and become part of the Crawfordsville community,” Wells said in the release. “I look forward to working with current and emerging leaders, building relationships across Montgomery County and helping support a strong, connected and growing community.”

The Montgomery County Leadership Academy provides leadership training and development programs for individuals, organizations and the community throughout Montgomery County.
