Ann N. Eggleston, 94, of Rockville passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Clinton Gardens.
She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was born June 19, 1932, in Urbana, Illinois, to the late Harold Norton and Marie Van Meter Norton. Her husband of 50 years, Groff Osborn Eggleston, whom she married Oct. 28, 1951, preceded her in death Oct. 10, 2002.
Survivors include: daughter Linda (Jim) Thomas of Martinsville; four sons, Les (Donna) Eggleston of Rockville, Larry (Caryl) Eggleston of Rockville, Lee (Wendy) Eggleston of Crawfordsville and Lew (Penny) Eggleston of Rockville; two sisters, Edith Guyder of Mooresville and Elva (Bob) VanHook Harvey of Rockville; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold “Butch” Norton and Bill Norton.
She was a 1950 graduate of Greene Township High School and Vigo County School Licensed Practical Nursing program in 1970. She was an active member of the Rockville Christian Church serving many years as choir director. She also belonged to the former Order of the Eastern Star chapter 126 and the Parke County Choral Club.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at the Rockville Christian Church, 292 W. Highway 36, Rockville, with Senior Minister Josh Captain officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Marshall. Visitation is from noon until 2 p.m. Monday at Rockville Christian Church. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Gooch Funeral Home, Rockville.
