Anna Louise Blissett Keough, 88, of Ladoga died Aug. 29, 2026, after an over 10-year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
Anna was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Rapid City, Michigan. She was the daughter of Ira and Katherine Blissett and one of eleven children. Anna grew up in northern Michigan. She was a graduate of Elk Rapids High School Class of 1955.
While living in Flint Michigan after high school, she met her future husband, Robert L Keough, who was attending Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute). The two were married on Sept. 29, 1956. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith and friendship in Indiana, where they raised their three sons and one daughter.
Anna was an avid reader and jigsaw puzzle enthusiast and enjoyed playing various card games and board games. She sewed and crocheted for many years and taught her granddaughters how to crochet. She loved to tend her flower garden. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a small group of friends and a large extended family.
Family always came first for Anna. Her love and devotion to Bob and their children came before everything else, and it was a value she lived out and instilled in her family every day. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well, embracing them with that same generous love and making each of them feel cherished.
She is survived by her loving sons, Larry, Gary (Deborah) and James (Christine); daughter Lisa (Larry); grandchildren, Jessalyn (Shawn), Emily (Nick) and Jameson; her great-grandchildren, Beau, Cal, and Hallie. She is also survived by her two sisters, Theo and Charlotte; her brother, Leroy; and many nieces and nephews.
She and her family are grateful for the care she received from the wonderful in-home caregivers and the entire medical team with Hendricks Regional Health and Luminary Hospice.
As per Anna’s wishes, there will be no service for her.
