Annalee Bolen Pittman passed away peacefully at 3:35 a.m. July 12, 2026, on her 92nd birthday, in Ben Hur Health and Rehab, Crawfordsville. She resided in Ben Hur since 2022. She was born July 12, 1934, in Crawfordsville, to the late Leland and C. Faye Hutchison Bolen. She was a 1952 graduate of Waynetown High School and married Fred C. Pittman on June 14, 1952, in Waynetown. He preceded her in death July 30, 2018.
Annalee was previously employed in retail sales at the former Sears and Danners in the Crawfordsville Mall and many will remember her as “Granny” from the cafeteria at Sommer Elementary School. She was a member of Liberty Chapel Church and the ladies group Night Owls. She enjoyed reading, playing piano, sewing and cooking.
Surviving are three daughters, Becki (Tom) Muth of Waynetown and Linda (Steve) Sayler and Janet (Bob) Suiter, both of Crawfordsville; two sons, Don (Mary) Pittman of Deerfield Beach, Florida and Mike Pittman of Crawfordsville; brother Tom Bolen of Waynetown; 10 grandchildren; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Fred.
A private family gathering at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate will precede Annalee’s public graveside service 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 21 at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with her grandson Kyle Proctor officiating.
