Connie Jo Bowman, 74, of Crawfordsville, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026, at Ben Hur Nursing and Rehab.
She was born March 3, 1952, in Crawfordsville, to Paul and Norma (Ehrie) Fischer.
Connie attended Fountain Central High School. She worked locally at Coast to Coast, RR Donnelley and retired in 2017 from Pace Dairy. In her younger years, Connie was active with her square-dancing club and bowling league. She enjoyed camping, reading and boating. Later in life, she appreciated a quiet evening working on word puzzles, listening to music and spending time with her dog. Connie was fiercely proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting and school events throughout the years.
Connie will be missed by her children, Daniel Donahue, Daryl Donahue and Dawn Pruett; seven grandchildren, Jason, Austin, Caleb, Jordan, Tivon, Olivia and Blakely; soon to be eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Donna Demoret; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Paul Fischer and Norma Kincade; brother Ronald Hart; and brother-in-law Steve Demoret.
Per Connie’s wishes, cremation was chosen with private family services.
