Larry Lynn Pickett, 78, of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette.
Larry was born March 3, 1948, to Harold and Jeanette Pickett of Rensselaer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Beverly A Pickett; son Michael G. (Brookanna) Pickett of Crawfordsville; grandson Brody M. Pickett; three great-granddaughters; step-sons, Donald and Martin Kimberlin; step-daughter Tina (Tom) Hoene; step-grandchildren, Dustin L. Shuler, Sarah D. Blacksher, Travis R. Manley, Vivian Kimberlin and Jouston Kimberlin; five step-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ronald Pickett, Carla Bridwell and Doyle (s) Pickett.
Larry was employed at UPS for 25 years and retired in 2010. He served in the United States Army and is veteran of the Vietnam War. Larry enjoyed the outdoors, collecting guns, horseback riding and staying at home.
A celebration of life is planned for 4-8 p.m. Saturday, June 20 at the American Legion Byron Cox Post 72, 101 Walter Remley Drive, Crawfordsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the American Legion Post 72 in Crawfordsville or American Legion Post 302 in Darlington.
