Wallace L. Estes, 84, Crawfordsville, passed away Sept. 6, 2026, at Franciscan Indianapolis.
He was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Putnam County, to George William and Helen Francis (Newell) Estes. He married Charlotte B. Skinner and they were married 49 years until her passing in November 2011.
He retired from IBM as a senior system analyst. His memberships included Bainbridge Christian Church, Masonic Temple No. 47, F & A.M. of Greencastle, Valley of Indianapolis Scottish Rite and Porter Business College Student Council. He was a 1959 graduate of Bainbridge High School.
Surviving are his children, Scott E. (Tammy) Estes and Carol L. (Chris) Cochran; brother, Edwin R. Estes; and grandchildren, Erica and Andrea Estes.
Private family services will be held Saturday morning, Sept. 12 at Brick Chapel Cemetery.
