Winston Scott Larkin, 39, of Hillsboro passed away after a courageous battle with renal disease on July 1, 2026, at University Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on Oct. 24, 1986, in Danville, Illinois, to Terry E. Larkin and Cindy (Gross) Ford.
Winston attended Southmont High School for two years. He graduated from Fountain Central High School 2005. The greatest joy in Winston‘s life was being a dad to his boys. The five boys were his world. Winston was an avid Marvel collector and could tell you anything and everything Marvel.
He is survived by his father, Terry (Stacey) Larkin; his mother, Cindy Ford; and his fiancée, Marci Shields, with their five boys, Logan Larkin, twins Anthony and Gabriel Larkin and Preston and Parker Coakley. Also surviving are siblings, Tina (John) Jordan, Terry Joe (Nichole) Larkin and step-siblings, Shannon (Adam) Claycomb and Caleb Dulin; his paternal grandma, Peggy Larkin; as well as several nieces, nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Mildred (Millie) Gross and his paternal grandparents, Martha Nail and Bob Larkin.
Visitation will be at Sterling Christian Church, 701 S. Sterling Ave., Veedersburg, on Friday, July 24 from 4 p.m. until the time of the celebration of life service at 6 p.m. Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Winston’s memory to Team Mason, 2193 E. Overcoat Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
